	Sr.Scientist, Thursday, February 12, 2009 Biocon 3 - 7 years, 2 Design and Execute preclinical and toxicology studies in co –coordination with CRO ‘s for small molecules and biologics >Co-ordinate and manage different types of research contracts with pre-clinical CRO’s which involves, initial screening and technical assessments by personal interviews, bidding, legal paperwork (CDA, MTA,MSA), execution of contracts, timeline tracking, conduct weekly meeting and follow up with billing and payment. >Designing, planning and co-coordinating with external CRO’s in conducting safety, efficacy and toxicity studies for small molecules and biologics in vivo (use of laboratory animals) and in vitro (use of bacterial and cell culture) biological systems. >Thorough understanding of regulatory guidelines for executing the study and for liasoning with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local, national and international regulations. >Provide scientific expertise in developing new methodologies, write and review protocols, evaluate data and interface in compliance with regulatory agencies. >Review toxicological data submitted by others for adequacy, and suggests amendment or expansion of data to clarify or correct information. >Expertise in interpreting the histopathological findings from CRO’s to analyse the toxicity. >Candidate should be skilled in interfacing with multidisciplinary teams, collaborative partners, contract research organizations and regulatory agencies. >Ability to use specialized software`s such as WinNonlin (PKPD), SAS, Microsoft project & office.
